Antique thread store display Merricks sewing box drawers 22 in red original 1800. Antique store advertising Merrick's thread box. Original not reproduction, late 1800s 2. Very nice item but not perfect 3. Excellent original red wash finish 4.

Trim on bottom front has been replaced, does not exactly match the two sides 5. One knob, bottom right has been replaced 6. I have not cleaned this, came out of NH attic 8. Stenciling is original, not over painted 9. Very heavy, 23 pounds not packed 10.

Exterior is hard wood, drawer sides and bottoms pine 11. Drawer sides and bottom solid wood not plywood.
