Hello this is a vintage letterpress wooden printers tray with variety of compartments bigger than usual stripped of years of dust and dirt, treated and finished with a coat from the oil of British Rapeseed to enhance and preserve the dark coloured wood. Fronted with Antique Pine and lined with solid wood it has dark spots over the lining and on the frame which comes from the stains of the printers ink it has accumulated through the years. It has broken broken and chipped compartments, signs of historic woodworm which has been treated prior to restoration but nothing that affects use. Measuring 83cm x 36.5cm x 4.5cm a very peculiar full of character piece of British Printing History carefully sourced from a Vintage Printing workshop in York perfect in featuring your valuable coin collection, crystals, legos, small pictures, essential oils, threads and other beautiful curiosities either hanging or placed leaning against the wall.
