Vintage Sherlock Holmes Pipe Cabinet Wood Tobacco Glass Front Case Curio Display

  

Amazing vintage Sherlock Holmes Pipe Cabinet. This cabinet is made of a heavy solid wood with an etched glass front featuring Sherlock against a backdrop of London. The inner shelves have spots to store different pipes. The cabinet will hold 16 pipes in two rows plus has a shelf on the bottom for tools, lighters, or tobacco. The cabinet has two metal hangers at the top to hang it on a wall.

The door has a magnet closure to hold it closed as well. It is also pretty heavy as it's solid wood and glass.

The cabinet weighs more than 7 lbs. The wood has some scuffs and scratches on the upper right side of the door and there is no knob. (See photos) The wood isn't warped or water damaged. There is a brass plate on the inside lower left corner of the door (see photo).

The glass is in nice condition. The etching is in great condition. This was used by a pipe smoker to store pipes. There is a hole in the fiberboard back, for a screw to hold it against a wall. Front exterior: 20 1/2 x 16 inches across, 4 inches deep. Interior of case: 16 3/8 x 14 3/8 inches across, just under 3 inches deep.
