Also, since we directly sell our furniture through this website to the end consumer, leaving out the middle man (antique resellers) and without using expensive presentation space, we are able to maintain a relatively low price level for our funiture - so really high quality for low prices. OAF has over 15 years of experience in the restoration and refinement of antique furniture. Our goal with each restoration is to preserve the old substance of the antique as much as possible. Also, we do document each step of our restoration and refinement so that we would even be able to reverse the restoration. In general, we practice two ways of restorations, the restoration and reworking and the restoration and refinement.

You see the differences in the following pictures. The reworking emphasizes the characteristics of the furniture and just stresses the natural, original colors. The refinement goes a few steps beyond that by giving the furniture a new surface, often with several layers of lacquer, new colors, chrome and leather applications and much more, while preserving the original forms. The resulting furniture pieces are of exceptional design and long-term quality.
