Exotic Wood and Glass Case - Quarter Sawn Red Oak. This display case is handcrafted using solid 3/4 inch Quarter Sawn Red Oak. The case has a mirrored back, two adjustable shelves, glass top and sides, and sliding glass front doors to allow for easy access to your collectables. The case design allows the contents to breathe while keeping them dust free. These cases can be quickly and effortlessly converted into several different configurations depending on your changing collectable needs -- adding additional shelves, removing a shelf, you can even use it as a Doll Case by removing all the shelves and brass pins!

Each case is specially designed and handcrafted by Mike of Chameleon Woodcrafting. Mike meticulously finishes the wood by hand -- first the case is sealed with an oil / varnish mixture, then sprayed with three coats of lacquer to bring out the unique characteristics of each piece of wood.

The wood is then hand rubbed with a fine English wax to protect the finish. The bottom is oak and the shelf pins are solid brass. There are felt feet on the bottom. At Chameleon Woodcrafting, we us old world joinery and meticulous finishing techniques in each of our pieces.

Usually Mike's work is by custom order. The outside dimensions of this case are 18" tall by 14 wide and 14" deep. The inside dimensions of this case are 17.25" tall by 12.5" wide and 12.5 deep.
