Vintage 1950s EKCO A704 MW SW Quality Large Wood Case Valve Radio, Display FAB. Another radio from my collection, been sitting proudly on my shelf for many years.

I recently gave the radio a intensive clean inside and out to remove the dust accumulated over the years and is now dust free. I have plugged the set in and although everything lights up and all the dials work as they should the only sound is a loud humming so will need looking at if you wanted to use as intended. Apart from the set not working the case is in exceptional condition with only a few minor imperfections in the polished surface.

The the knobs turn and the dial indicator moves. This set has one MW channel and four SW channels.

Dial grass is nice and clear with no flaking, dial bulbs work nice and bright. Because of the age of the set please be aware that it would have had a long life and would have picked up the occasional scratch and stain on the way. I always try and be as honest as possible when listing my items, detailing as much as I can. 56cm wide x 39cm high x 23cm deep.
