Hello this is a Vintage Letterpress Wooden Printers Tray made of Beech/Antique Pine with a plywood lining that has been cleaned, sanded, finished with a coat from the oil British Rapeseed. It has 147 equal squares all measuring 4cm x 3.1 cm-smaller than usual but perfect in storing lego mini figures (as seen on the pictures), crystal collections, coins, buttons, jewelleries and other small curiosities. It has two broken compartments but nothing that affects usage. Beautifully presented with the original Joyce & Co metal handle covered in dark brown/black patina and the wonderfully preserved type case label.

In general this tray is in good condition for its age and the slight marks and stains from the printers ink adds character to it. Measuring 82cm x 36cm x 4.5cm this piece of British printing history from Kent can be used as an added wall feature in your home, office or nursery.
