Interior width is 2.25. Listed in AS-IS condition, the inner fabric that would cover the hinges is missing/torn, that fabric would I assume have kept the lid vertical or at an angle, as it is now it lays flat (the box hinges are fine, they do have a little play, you can wiggle the lid a little side to side).

Also note some mild warping (See the edge seams). On the underside of the case there is an area by the back edge that looks chipped and stained, I'm not sure what caused that or what to make of it, just see the photos.

Case exterior is 2.75" wide, just under 3.5" deep and 15/16" tall (just under 1"). The hook to hold the watch can be wiggled and looks a little crooked, I'm not sure how it is attached internally but feels like it is not screwed into the wood or anchored firmly (if you hung a watch on it the hook would sag down I think). The underside of the lid has a pillow with a lot of text (see photos), I assume it relates to a watchmaker or region etc. The distance between the hook and the bottom inside of the case is about 2.5.

You can see how the hook has made an impression in the lid pillow. A lot of other obvious wear as seen in the photos. See photos for condition details.
