For your consideration is a Wooden Display Case or Presentation Box for a full size 1911 Automatic Pistol (Colt Gold Cup National Match Delta Elite Springfield Range Officer Ruger SR1911 Remington R1 Para Ordnance Rock Island S&W Sig - 45 acp 9mm 38 super 22 etc etc) (Series 70 80 1991 XE XSE Competition Target Models all will fit in this box) (a commander sized pistol will fit in this box however obviously there will be an additional open area at the muzzle end of the cutout form). 10 3/4"L x 8 1/2"W x 2 3/4H. It features an antique brass/bronze colored hasp / latch and hinges that self-stop at an open angle making for an easy display. The box also has small neoprene pads on the bottom to prevent slipping and to provide stability. This display Case has a firm padded interior with a soft and plush kelley green wool felt lining and features a form fit cutout for the pistol and a spare magazine (only a standard magazine {9mm 38 super 45 acp} will fit, no extended magazines or those with pads on them etc).

This box is shown displayed with both a Colt Series 70 Government Model and a Colt Gold Cup NM to illustrate fit. Bonus item The box will include an engraved name plate that you can install if you desire to do so (Plate reads "Model 1911" see last 2 pictures for examples) name plate/plaque installs easily with double sided adhesive and/or small screws (both will be included) place in the center or on the corner of the top, use the engraved plate on the front or inside of the box or choose not to use it at all, the choice is completely yours.
