VINTAGE TABLETOP WOOD GLASS RECTANGULAR SHOWCASE DISPLAY CASE 16 x 13 x 1 1/2

  

This is a vintage tabletop wooden display case with glass top. The actual display area measures 16" x 13" x 1.5. The case has a nice vintage patina. The case does have flaws.

The glass has light scratches throughout. The is a heavy scratch along the right front corner about 7 inches in length (see last photo). The wood has scratches and chipping (see pictures). The brass hinges are in good shape. There is a brass hook lock on the front of the cabinet.

There are two removable metal brackets attached to the right side for wall hanging. The top and bottom half of the case is off center and needs to be adjusted (see picture of corners when closed). The interior floor of the case seems to have had a felt cover at some point in time. There is glue and felt residue present. This is a great case with an old patina for storing vintage antiques, collectibles, or for re-purposing.
