Bespaq Carved Display Case Store Shelving in Ivory with Mirror Dollhouse Miniature

  

This marvelous Bespaq display case is finished in ivory paint with gold detailing. The case would be perfect in almost any store, as it provides fabulous display space as well as storage space. The upper section of the case features 3 display shelves, all backed by a large glass mirror, which adds light and dramatic flair to your display.

The upper 2 shelves are clear glass, the lowest shelf (which is part of the base) is painted wood. On each side of the center shelves are 5 triangular shelves, in painted wood. The bottom of the case has 3 working doors with brass pulls, which open to reveal 2 shelves for storage. If you look at the final 2 photos, you will see that the case was also designed with two small holes drilled in the top of the cabinet, which will allow you to insert 2 electric light bulbs, which would then cast light throughout your display.

These holes are hidden enough that, should you choose not to light the cabinet, you can't see the empty holes. A fantastic addition to any store. I have learned a little about the history of the Bespaq Company: In the mid 1980s, Bespaq Corporation was formed by Pit Ginsburg of California. He originally designed museum quality dollhouse furniture in a variety of periods for Fantastic Merchandise. They went out of business in the mid 1980s, and Pit saw a chance to make his mark in the blossoming miniatures industry.

And he moved his production there. Bespaq Furniture is a now a well known collector quality brand of miniatures; it is well designed and properly scaled with intricate detail. Bespaq provides a higher end range of manufactured dolls house furniture and continues to feature elaborate classic and regional furniture styles with some reproductions of famous pieces.

Often listed as "Museum Quality", Bespaq is quality factory made furniture which tends towards more elaborate furniture styles. Bespaq miniature furniture is considered the top of the manufactured line for it's beauty, innovation and heirloom quality. 8" H x 7½" W x 1 D. Is a 1:12 (1 inch) scale miniature, unless otherwise stated in description.

It is an adult collectible miniature, and is not meant for children under the age of 14. The ruler in the photo is there to provide a reference point for scale. It is NOT meant to indicate any exact measurements!
