This presentation case features a beautiful burl exterior, the dimensions are approx 14" x 8 1/2" x 2 1/2. This case has a mortise lock that comes with 1 key with tassel and has a piano hinge that offers lid support which makes for an easy open display. The Case's interior is firm yet soft enough to not harm your gun's finish, it has been lined with a stylish and attractive red velvet and features a form fitted (French Fit) area for your pistol to rest in style while comfortably and firmly in place.

The interior has been designed to fit the standard lines of a Colt Government Model, but also fits Colt Delta Elite, Remington R1, Springfield Armory Mil-Spec or any other Mil-Spec configured Model 1911, It fits Pre-70, Series 70 and Series 80 pistols, it fits models with a ring or spur style hammer, it fits models with a flat or arched mainspring housing. It was designed for classic 1911's with traditional features, the case may not fit advanced models with larger modern enhanced features (upswept beaver tail style grip safety or Target/Custom sights etc).
