Letterpress Type Case Vintage Print Tray Wood Printers Drawer Curios Display
Hello this is a vintage letterpress printers tray made of beech/pine with a plywood lining that has been cleaned, sanded, finished and coated with British Rapeseed oil. It has 147 equal squares all measuring 4cm x 3cm-smaller than usual but perfect in storing lego mini figures (as seen on the pictures), crystal collections, coins, buttons, jewelleries and other small curiosities. It has a Rose Gold metal handle covered in dark brown/black patina.
In general this tray is in good condition for its age with slight marks and stains from the printers ink. Measuring 86cm x 83cm x 4cm this piece of British printing history from Kent can be used as an added wall feature in your home, office or nursery.
