Remington Hi-Speed 22's Country Store Display Case Cabinet DuPont Wood Ammo Box

  
Literally a barn find in rural South Carolina. This Remington "Hi-Speed" 22's counter top store display case is in remarkable condition. The only reconditioning we did was light cleaning with diluted Murphy's Soap and application of organic Van's Beeswax to condition and hydrate the wood. No refinishing, no oils or vanish, and no chemical cleaning. This piece was kept dry and well preserved over the years. Other than extremely slight and small marks in the wood (pine) and a handful of very small glass blemishes (very small), absolutely no condition issues. The wood has a wonderful natural aged patina, the glass is clear with not chips or cracks, all dividers are present and the red lettering is strong and complete. The rudimentary locking mechanism is complete and functions perfectly as well. It looks as if this piece was never used and just stored away for years.
