Hello this is a Vintage Letterpress Wooden Printers Tray freed from years of dust and dirt, slightly sanded, treated and finished with a coating from the oil of British Rapeseed to enhance the dark coloured wood. It has variety of compartments which in general are in good condition but because of its age has few signs of wear (chips on the dividers, some compartments are not straight)-they do not affect use. The original handle has been preserved as well as the dark patina that runs through it as an added element of character to this beautiful piece.

As seen on pictures, there are wave-like patterns almost dancing gracefully on the lining which are the effects brought by the discolourations of the wood combined with the stains from the printers ink it had collected through the years making this one a peculiar piece. Measuring 83cm x 36.5cm x 4cm this tray carefully sourced and was originally brought from a Vintage Printing Workshop in Yorkshire is perfect in featuring your valuable coin collection, shells, legos, essential oils and other beautiful curiosities either hanging or placed against the wall.
