Vintage French Floral Garland Wood Display Wall Table Show Case Shadow Box Frame

  

This is a wonderful old vintage gold gilt wall or table display case or shadow box. Possibly from an old department store.

Last owner glued seashells onto the old velvet lining so you may want to redo the lining. Measures 16" by 19 3/4" by 2 1/2 and has hinges on the base and hooks on the side.

On the bottom gesso garland area I think possibly a small leaf is missing. The top right on the inner curve area has been repaired with a staple. I see a couple lines in this area and a tiny gesso loss spot also. Also a few gesso lines throughout typical to most old frames.
