DESCRIPTION Antique Clarks Anchor advertising cabinet. Vintage wooden counter top cabinet which displayed stranded cotton for embroidery. This is a three tiered cantilever display case which when fully opened uses the brackets as supporting legs at the rear which is unique and intuitive. This advertising case most likely dates from the 1900 - 1910 era both in style, lettering and celluloid plaque. Marked on front: Clarks Anchor Stranded Cotton Small plaque on top: Couleurs Solides This would be a great housewarming gift or the ideal addition to your home decor or sewing collectibles. MEASUREMENTS Case measures 15.5" long by 3.75" tall by 7.75 deep and weighs 3lb 8oz. CONDITION The case is in good structural condition and opens smoothly. Originally, there would have been small wooden dividers which are missing but could easily be replaced - please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description.
