Solid Exotic Wood Portable Display Case 30 Compartments Custom Made NEVER USED

  

You will NEVER see another portable display case like this! An employee of mine custom made this for me years ago and I have never used it. There are many different kinds of wood in this display.

None of the lumber you see came from a hardware store. The young man custom cut and planed each piece.... It is truly one of a kind! The larger outside pieces of the case are made of SINGLE pieces of curly maple. The wavy grain in this wood is absolutely beautiful!

He told me that some of the other wood in the case actually came from South America. I own a landscaping company and originally had it made to display landscaping products such as mulch and decorative gravel. It would be absolutely perfect to be used at a trade show where you really want to showcase your products.

Don't let my original intentions for the case limit your imagination. Anything that you choose to display in this case would be an absolute show stopper.

When closed, the outside measurements of the case is approximately 26" x 16" x 6 5/8. When the case is fully open the outside measurements are approximately 51 3/4" x 16" x 3 1/4. The handle which is shaped like a tree branch extends 2 higher. The inside display cubicles are different sizes. Some are square at 4 1/4" x 4 1/4".

The other cubicles are 3 3/4" x 4 1/4". There are a total of 30 display cubicles ready to be filled. Look at the detail in the work!

When you look at the inner cubicles the wood is notched into place. This is kind of craftsmanship that takes a lot of time and attention to detail.

One end of the case is hinged so that it can open and close. The other side has two clasps that secure it when it is being carried. The plexiglass that is over the cubicles is attached with brass screws. To fill the display you would have to remove all the screws, fill the display and reset the plexiglass.

The solid wood in this case is HEAVY! Without the packaging it weighs approximately 32 lbs and 14 ounces.
